Twitter changed logo to Dogecoin

At dawn April 4, Twitter users suddenly discovered that the Twitter’s logo had been changed into Shiba Inu. Very similar to the Dogecoin (DOGE) logo, the “favorite” cryptocurrency of billionaire Elon Musk.

Elon Musk spent $43 billion to acquire Twitter at the end of 2022, saying it was just an act of fulfilling his pledge last year.

Elon Musk did not say that this would be the beginning of Twitter accepting DOGE as a payment method. This has been done by Tesla with the electric car company and has been rumored many times since Elon Musk owns Twitter.

Many people even joked that maybe this was an “April Fools” prank prepared by Twitter. But because of the lack of staff after many layoffs and the harsh work culture under Musk, Twitter was unable to created this joke on time.

Even so, this event caused the DOGE price to jump 37% from $0.077 to $0.1 on the morning of April 4, before correcting to 0.092 at press time.
