iPhone 15 will have a big change

Reputable sources believe that the next year’s iPhone 15 line will have a new product, the iPhone 15 Ultra, replacing the most advanced Pro Max.

Rumors from LeaksApple Pro, a source who has repeatedly correctly predicted Apple, revealed that the iPhone 15 years later will have 4 products, including the standard version, iPhone 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Ultra. This means that the Pro Max series will disappear and be replaced by the most advanced Ultra.

Between these products, there will be differences such as processors, prices, etc., in line with Apple’s customer decentralization strategy at the moment.

In addition, this source also said that all Apple smartphones next year from the standard version to the high-end iPhone 15 Ultra line will use the new USB-C port instead of the traditional Lightning connector.

On two high-end models, iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra, the connection port uses the Thunderbolt 4 standard, with faster data transfer speeds and better graphics capabilities.

According to TechRadar , users have long expected and constantly talked about the USB-C port that will appear on the iPhone, especially after the European Union proposed the port standardization law to apply in 2024.

High-quality video on iPhone even using ProRES format is often too heavy to transmit on an old connector like Lightning. For example, a 15-minute 4K video will take about 40 minutes to transfer from iPhone to laptop.

Since the launch of the Lightning port in 2012, Apple has not upgraded or renewed this proprietary connector. So, when smartphones require faster transfer speeds, with larger data files, Apple needs to change its tradition.

In addition to the connection change, LeaksApplePro also revealed that Apple will continue its customer decentralization strategy when it will only equip new processors on the Pro series and use the old chip line for cheaper products. .

Thus, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra will own the A17 Bionic chip, focusing on saving more power than the previous generation because Apple is very confident about the performance on its processor. This new processor will save 20% battery compared to the current A16 chip.

“Apple wants the battery life on next year’s iPhone to increase by 3-4 hours of use, especially the iPhone 15 Ultra line,” the source confirmed.

In addition, all iPhone lines next year will have the all-new Dynamic Island hole. This is considered a big change for Apple, initially turning Dynamic Island into a basic feature, appearing on all iPhone lines.

Besides, experts also predict that Apple is working on developing the ability to record 8K on iPhone. However, it is still unclear if this feature will appear on all iPhone lines or only with the high-end Pro series.

Earlier, analyst Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) also said that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will all have Dynamic Island along with the high-end Pro line. However, these two cheaper products will not support ProMotion screen technology and Always-On feature.
